Description
I look around and what do I see?Relationships of all kinds.
Girlfriends and boyfriends.
Groups of best friends.
Then I look closer to me and what do I see?
Some of my best friends in relationships.
Some of my best friends in little groups.
And I'm left out.
Everyone used to hang out all the time.
Now it's either of two things:
Their big relationship,
Or their new group of friends.
Either way, I'm left out.
I used to be in a relationship.
I used to be in that group of friends.
Now I'm in neither.
My best friends have turned into friends.
My friends have turned into acquaintances.
And my acquaintances have drifted away.
And I don't know why.
I used to have a friend over ever weekend.
I used to talk to someone at least 3 times a week.
Now I go weeks without someone over.
And weeks without talking to anyone.
Time changes everything and everyone.
But when it changed my friends.
It changed me with them.
But it changed my friends in different directions.
So I look around and see,
People drifting away,
Friends soon becoming enemies,
And I'm all alone.

ironically...I was thinking of something like this last night as I tried to go to sleep >.<...though not in poem form...just observation D:...the world is a strange place...

its a funny thing how things change...this is so old though, at least 2 years old. since i've been going to my new school i haven't been like that. i have the best friends in the whole wide world and almost everyone knows me and cares about me if only a little bit.

im 23 and way past school (well, sort of...) and I still feel that way >.< even in the town i grew up in. oh well..being alone is nothing that bad :3, after all, why be like everyone else and rush things or constantly change?
