ATM my potty has mostly silly cartoony characters. I felt like it badly needed something more detailed, so I made a cool gryphon. Oddly, it didn't come out as detailed as I had in mind, and the shading isn't excellent either... I have a feeling I'll go back and really give this some proper justice later. Or perhaps I should just make something even better
Still, for what it is, I do like it... Even if it could be a great deal better... So it'll do the job for now. I'm not suuuuuuper ashamed to post it in an application. I also made a gold coloured one that looks very neat, but ultimately I picked this one because I found the brown/gold/pink combination eye-pleasing and way more interesting than just a n o t h e r g o l d e n g r y p h o n which there seems to be a thousand of. I'm supposed to be a bit original if I can
Really loving this design though! Perhaps I'll use it for something. Might tweak some things to make it fit more into my head-world, but it ain't off the table.
OH OH and I should mention! Some of you long time watchers may recognize the pose. It's from a VERY old commission. I still liked the pose and wings, so I reused those, but of course drew a new body with better anatomy. You're not gonna be surprised, nope I haven't.... But I got X, X-2, XIII, XIII-2 and A Realm Reborn almost a year ago.... They're in that long queue of games I desperately need to find time for. I'm not even sure A Realm Reborn is an actual game? Might be all online stuff?
I HAVE WATCHED THE MOVIE THOUGH! You know.... That CGI movie called "Final Fantasy" that apparently has nothing to do with the games at all, or so I hear.

Oh man X is my favourite Final Fantasy. I think I played it at just the right age. I totally fell in love with all the characters and the story. It still holds up imo, looks pretty decent and has great gameplay. X-2 is weird. It felt like a fan service game or something. Basically you played as the girl characters, a bit older and could change classes all the time so they had various skimpy outfits on. There was even one quick time event mission where you massaged another busty girl character if I remember correctly. I'm not super familiar with the newer FF games. I did play XII though and enjoyed that a lot.
There's two Final Fantasy movies I think. You've probably seen the weird one that doesn't tie in with any of the games... at least I don't think it ties in. Then there's the Advent Children one which is set in the FFVII universe. I don't really remember them very well, been a long time since I watched them.

I think it was about evil aliens and they ended up blowing everything up? Nice credit music is all I really remember... Haven't heard of any other. I should check out the Advent Children one, woot!

Was positively lit! I've been playing for about 10 hours so far and I just finished the Dodongo Cavern and got the red thing. So far I'm loving it! Although I had to look up a walkthrough for a few things already... Damn this game for making me feel dumb! I also hope I get that horse soon 'cause it a reeeeeaaaaaaally big place and takes forever to get places. When do you get the horse anyway!?

HORSEY TIMES. I'm not sure how much to tell you because I'm not sure how much you know about the game. But you get the horse kinda after the Zora dungeon when something happens to Link. I think you can go get her anytime at that point, the game doesn't lead you there or anything.
Also super glad you're enjoying it! Zelda's got some tough puzzles in there for sure. I remember spending a long time at certain points wondering what the hell I was supposed to do, haha!

WOO. I wasn't sure if you knew you would turn into an adult in the game, haha! When I was playing as a young kid and that first happened to me I was like, "OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING." And then I found out there were like 7 more dungeons or something after it took me ages to beat the first 3. It kinda felt like two games in one. Maybe it was just my easily excited child brain.
Yay, I'm glad you like it. That makes me happy. I throw on Zelda music quite a lot when I'm drawing. People have done some cool remixes too.

I know nothing, hurrhurr. Playing this game fills me with juicy childlike wonder! Those games that feel like 2-in-1 are amazing for sure!!!
So far there are only two minor things to complain about. For one, when playing as child-Link the camera is all up in his ass. Like sometimes he takes up a third of the screen and I can't see anything 
AW HELL YAAAS MATE. I can't wait to dive into the amazing world of Zelda remixes! I've heard a few before and it's been amazing playing this game 'cause sometimes I'm like "Oh! I recognize this song!". Definitely gonna indulge more in that Zelda musical goodness!

There are definitely things that aren't great about Ocarina of Time now. I remember using the bow on horseback was really difficult. Also when you get to the water temple you will wish for the sweet release of death.

I have heard the dark tales. Whenever anyone brings up horrible under water mechanics in games in general, they always immediately go straight to Ocarina of Time's water temple. Guess I'm about to find out why.

It was... Actually really fun xD I'm serious. Perhaps it was because of all those things I heard about it making me expect the sheerest of agony as soon as I entered. It's not like it's my favourite dungeon, but I found it fairly clever and really enjoyable. I feel like a sinner.
What's really funny too is that right after the Water Temple I went to the Garudo Fortress and THAT was a pain in the ass! Mostly because I didn't realize you could shoot the guards with arrows...... I spent goodness knows how much time creeping around trying not to get seen and got very frustrated 'cause I constantly got spotted and thrown back in jail, haha! Had to look up a video guide on how to free the last guy and THAT was when I saw that you can KNOCK THE B!TCHES OUT OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH OKAY.

Haha, wow, that's amazing. I think I found it frustrating just because you had to constantly go in and out of the menu every time you wanted to equip and unequip the iron boots. That was so annoying. They really should've been assigned to a button like most other items.
I think you can stun them using the hookshot too, although not sure about that.

I did assign the boots to a button. You can do that just by dragging them over. Is that not a thing in the original? Might be a thing they added in the 3DS version? (Also now I'm assuming you played the original)

OH SNAP they did that!? Well. That basically fixes the entire temple, haha! Well done Nintendo. Imagine having to press start, scroll through a couple of inventory screens and select the boots every single time you wanted to put them on or take them off. It was infuriating.

Sounds like a pain in the booty! ................eeeeeeeeey? But for real, sounds pretty awful. I constantly tapped the boot-button to rise/drop in the water to control my position. It felt like walking on the moon.
Oh oh oh, I just beat the witch twins btw! That was EPIC! I loved that boss, very clever. This game is constantly amazing me with how darn creative it is. Love all the character/enemy designs too. Might actually be my new favourite game, hahaha!

Yeah exactly, there were a few parts where you had to careful position yourself mid-depth in the water. Extra annoying with the old menu system.

Finished it last night, OH MAH GAWD SO GUD!!! Had to look up how to damage Ganondorf, but once I figured out it was Mario Tennis it was fun. Definitely go and play it if you want to. Heck, I just finished and I already want to go again XD Perhaps I should give that Master Quest thing a try. It's basically the same game on hard mode, right?
If you get a chance at the 3DS version perhaps give that a shot? I think I got mine for Β£12 on Amazon or something.
Also itching to get started on Majora's Mask now! But I have two huge paintings I need to get done within 3 weeks, so I'll focus on that first. Shouldn't be too hard, so long as I don't get distracted by more awesome games, haha!

WOO you saved Hyrule! That battle mechanic with Ganondorf where you play tennis is a recurring thing throughout the Zelda games, haha! I'm not sure exactly how many times it happens though. It might not be as many as I think. It's definitely in Wind Waker though. I've never played OoT on Master Quest mode, I think that was in the 3DS version only. Maybe I will pick it up sometime!
Majora's Mask will be interesting for you, it felt completely different to me. It still does kinda feel different to all other Zeldas.Β

I should probably have tried the tennis thing more... I had a LOT of trouble in another boss battle or two where maybe I was supposed to bounce their attacks back at them. The curse of being a n00b... Can't wait til I know as much about Zelda as I know about PokΓ©mon.
I've been checking out some Let's Plays and speedruns of the original to look for version differences. The 3DS version does seem to have a good handful of improvements over the original, but of course I can't be sure

Twilight Princess is another title that keeps popping up with lots of praise! Must be a really amazing game. If I'm lucky it'll either get remade or get a virtual release on the Switch e-shop so I can get my claw-like hands on it!

TP is one of the darker, more realistic Zeldas I would say. I loved the gorons in it! And Midna. And some of the bosses. And the environments. Yeah I guess it was pretty good actually...

Haha, that's really funny to me for some reason, the idea of your mum being an elitist WoW player. I always find it interesting the range of people that are into WoW. I've never played it but I've never massively been into MMOs. Runescape was the closest I got to being seriously involved in one and I just kinda got bored of it after a few months.

Funny yes, but incredibly annoying xD I've tried getting her into PokΓ©mon, and she literally just looked at a few screenshots from Gen 3-5 and said "that doesn't look fun at all". Then she looked at screenshots form then 6 and said "That looks a LOT better! That must be fun!" She's one of those, she ONLY goes after graphics. I even got some Gen 4 and 5 games for her and she refuses to play them.... So I got them instead
