I'd like to thank, no, BLAME, Dreigunclaw/Stonefire and in turn WaterTimDragon/Dargon570 for me doing this. Recently, Dreigunclaw displayed a journal where he was inspired by sprites ripped by Tim to make a Youtube video of him playing the currently untranslated Japanese-only Square Enix game, Slime Morimori Dragon Quest, only bothering to show the boss fight with DragonKid/DragonJr (shown above). The video shows the details, but the idea is simple. After realizing how fail he is compared to the sheer awesomesauce that is the the slime hero, DragonKid gets royally pissed and decides to combat by SUCKING UP ALL THE WATER IN THE SURROUNDING AREA!Yeah, it's crazy.
DragonKid then spits water, then fire, then bounces to cause a quake which gives you the stones needed to pop the draconic water balloon. This is likely the only instance of dragon inflation I've ever seen in a video game (that wasn't already created by Dreigunclaw, note the irony), and I freaking love it. I got bored and made my secong animation I've ever made. The first is my recently altered avatar. I blinks!

I don't claim the sprites, nor do I claim or have even used those of WaterdragonTim's/Dargon570's, but they exist very little elsewhere around the internet. I could have ripped them, but the animation was enough.
Critique is requested for animation quality. I really tried hard...

The enemy of the game is the Tails Brigade. Long story short, all enemies have that tail.

It's Slime, the main character of this particular game and possibly THE most well-known character of the entire Dragon Quest franchise.
Since I ripped this entire scene straight off the game, as opposed to ripping them, he had to be left in and in that particular spot to center the camera.

Not until that kerfluffin' game gets translated. Nobody'll know he exists until one of three things happen, and I'll doubt that people will randomly learn Japanese, or my art suddenly become popular.

I said in the comments that DragonKid/DragonJr. sprites are scarce if at all existent. This very image was ripped from the very game: Slime Morimori Dragon Quest. You'll either need to find someone else to rip them, or do it yourself. If you decide the latter, I recommend using Visual Boy Advance like I did, because it has a fairly effective pause and frame by frame system which I used for crafting the animation.

How does that work for sprite based animiations? Surly if correct credits are given to the creaters then its more or less fine.
