Description
My first concept series, experimenting with Japanese folklore with a modern anime style. I originally was doing these for a convention I decided to attend at the last minute, but decided I'll continue the series for a while.LONG F***ING NECK LADY was originally going to be the title, but I thought respectfully I would just stick with her given name... :/

By the way, I sent you a note before, but I didn't get a reply, so I guess I'll make this part of the comment. I found this picture while looking for a good rokurokubi image I could use for an RP wiki I've been working on (nothing commercial, just for fun). Would you be okay if I used this?

Not sure of the advantage of a neck like that... except being able to look around things. Creepy.
Wonderful shading though. The contrast adds intensity. Great color/shading combination on the clothing

Well thank you! For most of these I hadn't seen a depiction of them until I did some research, and I thought... besides scaring men away, what else would a long neck be useful for? THOSE PESKY HAIR KNOTS! The kind you get when your hair is down to your butt...

A long neck would help with keeping one's face above water, even if the water's deep.
