Princess Tutu sketch request #15, for crowblood_heart on LJ: A drawing of Mytho and Rue, back to back.The requestee actually made TWO requests in one, so there is a companion picture to this (yes, of Fakir and Ahiru).
Anyway, I don't know what's with me and drawing these two looking comfortable and happy together. Angst suits them really well, especially with the whole "Raven's Blood" thing going on with them both, but for some reason, I keep ending up with pictures like this, instead. lol ...So uh, ignore the hands, if you please. XD;; As you can probably tell, I had great difficulty getting them to mesh the way I wanted. Bleh.
Otherwise, I thought this turned cute. I'll do something angsty and dark with these two eventually. Just need the right inspiration, I guess.
This was drawn in pencil, scanned, and lineart color changed with Adobe Photoshop 6.0.

Idk y but most of the time that I watch a show like Princess Tutu I end up all ways liking the bad guys because in my opinion Rue is the Greats person in that show it is so odd.
But this is a great pic great job.

The show did a wonderful job of making the characters flawed and well-rounded and interesting, particularly Rue and Fakir. :3 So a lot of people would agree with you on that.

They are well-suited to angst, certainly, but some happy fluffy stuff balances that out neatly. This is too adorable. ;;

You know, even though they're both set up for it, I can't really get the angstiness out of their relationship yet...I can imagine one of them having some sort of lapse and being sad, but the other would say "There, there," and it would be all better.

Oh, definitely not. I don't think living with the Raven's blood would be easy for EITHER of them. But they would also be there to help see each other through, so even if they still suffer from it, at least they have each other.

Awww nice!! I hated Rue when I watched the series because she was in the way of the whole Ahiru/Mytho thing, but when I finished series 2 I suddenly realised how perfect they were together ^-^
