Rebooted Origin
"Walter Klicks was an average burglar that found an artifact with a very dangerous power. Whatever door he uses the key on, that door becomes a doorway to Hell itself. The size of the demon that comes out depends on what size the door it came out of. So Walter uses this key to summons demons as a distraction while he pilfers whatever he gets his hands on."

For this, I picked a character that only appeared on the cover of a book. He didn't even have a name, Skeleton Key is what PDSH called him because he was holding a key with a skull on it, that's it. No back story or anything but the image, perfect for a complete redesign/reboot.
