I remember seeing those back at my school. The older computers they had before they got replaced.

Oh my, I remember these...
(Looks like I'm showing a bit of my age too. )
How nostalgic!

Well... I remember computers being old clunkers, too.Β
In fact, I think I've used one of these before:Β success.hindsitesoftware.com/h…
And that was when I was learning how to code!

Man, how the world has changed... and fast!

So very true. It is crazy how the children of today will never realize how lucky they are. Technology just keeps getting smaller and smaller, the apple watch is more powerful than what once used to take up an entire room.

"I've come up with a set of rules that describe our reactions to technologies:
1. Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2. Anything that's invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3. Anything invented after you're thirty-five is against the natural order of things." - Douglas Adams, The Salmon of Doubt.

... this. I believe this. In fact, I think I am starting to fall into the third category already...

Me, too! (Or, in this case, me three!)Β
No one does the sarcastic humour quite like the Brits. And among the Brits, Douglas Adams was quite unique in hitting the nail right on the head!

I remember the Apple II's. Getting one at 8 was quite progressive.

Well it was for the whole family Then my dad was hooked he started learning about them and eventually turned circuit boards and hard drives into computers

I remember the first Apple II we got in high school. It was so exciting because before that we were using punch cards. Punch cards were like caveman computing.
