IMPORTANT UPDATE 2021. This file used to contain more characters originally. There were a few OCs of mine who eventually got excluded from MLS for different reasons. For example, Alejo has gotten his own story. While Tyler simply became no longer needed in any of my projects, so I gifted her to my friend Mimmime.
The ref also used to feature a few OCs of my friends (Teresa and Ricardo of AyrinSiverna, Jane of Sweetly-Mad, and Damien of Mimmime), who seemed to fit for MLS at first, but then they also got excluded after many changes done to the plot.
I must also add that the images in this ref are outdated, for almost every OC of mine has come through design changes.
The need for the last two guys, Engel and Nadezhda, is currently under question.
Two relatively recent OCs of mine are missing in this ref because I still don't have suitable full-body pics of them. Those are Klaus Mortensen and one currently nameless female mole rat (sketches can be found in sta.sh: sta.sh/05tz53s8kbw and sta.sh/02e6a5wbju9u )
One day I'll add them, but that's likely to happen only when I return to working on MLS and do a new reference sheet with the project's characters. Currently I'm focused on the project in which Alejo is the main character.

Вот, вот как раз графический роман у меня в планах есть. Пока что веду проект просто в письменном виде, но по его завершении, когда уже будет ясно, что из чего вытекает, можно будет и комикс сделать))
Мне иногда кажется, что, начни я именно с комикса, дело бы уже давно далеко пошло - я же не писатель ни разу, у меня хоть и получается не страдать от недостатка идей, но мне тяжко дается подбор слов, логическое связывание одного с другим. В уме-то все просто, цепочкой вспышек. Для комикса этого достаточно. Но тут я сталкиваюсь с такой проблемой, как навык. Мне не очень хочется выпустить несколько глав комикса в течение года, а потом половину перерисовывать из-за того, что она кажется мне некачественной, неактуальной реальному навыку. А зная себя, могу сказать, что именно так и будет. Поэтому пока пусть будет утверждаться и обрастать плотью сценарный костяк, а там уж когда-нибудь будет и комикс, когда навык более-менее будет меня удовлетворять)) А уж после комикса, может, и идея мультфильма воплотится в реальность.

Думаю, правильное решение) У меня на самом деле совершенно аналогично с комиксом, лютая мечта о графическом романе, и даже есть парочка уже написанных сюжетов, но каждый раз проблема что это уже самодостаточное литературное произведение, которому не особо нужен зрительный ряд, и - главное - там дофига психологизму, колебаний и мыслей вечно, куда больше чем экшена, и я без понятия как это рисовать картинками))))
И с апгрейдом-перерисовкой загвоздка, да, подозреваю что под конец главы у меня никто не будет уже напоминать себя изначального, я на простой картинке-то два раза одного перса одинаково нарисовать не могу))
С другой стороны, комикс это классный способ апнуть навык, насколько я знаю.
В общем сюжет первичен и нужен полюбасу! Главное начать, хоть с него, думаю. А то без мало-мальски продуманного сюжета и комикс может застрять, вот обидно-то тогда будет.

Вот! Рассуждений в процессе больше, чем действия. У меня то же самое x'D Все дело в том, что я больше нацеливаюсь на чувства и переживания персонажей, чем на техническую сторону. Поэтому тоже возникает вопрос, как такое количество мыслей вместить в довольно-таки скромные по своей продолжительности действия. Казалось бы, персонаж сделал всего шаг, например, а за это мгновение целая туева хуча мыслей пронеслась. Собственно, именно из-за этих описаний все, что можно было бы вместить в одной главе, у меня растянулось на данный момент на 4, а в планах как минимум 50... А может, и значительно больше выйдет... x')
Кстати, хороший вариант того, как длительные рассуждения сопроводить иллюстрациями и разбавить все это действием (лол, да-да, именно так, а не наоборот :'D ) можно наблюдать в комиксах "ElfQuest: сага о лесных всадниках". С раннего детства боготворю эту вещь. Думаю, что на мой стиль написания историй самое большое влияние имели именно эти комиксы. Поглядите, если не читали. Очень душевная вещь, столько чувства и переживаний, а иллюстрации просто божественны.
И Вам тоже успехов в творчестве и чтобы все непременно доводилось до конца и всегда нравилось и Вам, и тем, кто на Вас подписывается))

Erm, I think she's too small to talk about her personality. In this ref she just learned how to walk. She's not older than two years old here, so she has no clear personality yet.
Nadia however strongly reminds of her father, more than of her mother, which is like a reminding of Stas for Oksana.

The dreadful striped clothing of Ausschwitz... one may wonder what those "experiments" are that Damien goes through. Considering the circumstances, what is actually the "enemy race" for the albinos? As I do understand they try to dominate the world, including the humans and act mainly out of revenge towards a world that made them inferior.

Funny fact, all the non-albino rodents are their enemies №1, but that's only for the beginning. Step by step, they plan on destroying or enslaving everyone else, including humans in the end. And that's what is hilarious, because considering their size in comparison to so global plans... that sounds like a joke. But at the same time, that's a familiar thing: suddenly facing the danger brought by something that we would never expect to be dangerous.

1. What time does MLS take place? KUWT is set in 1894/1895.
2. I'm guessing MLS takes place years later? Assuming my characters were born in 1870-1860, they'd be pretty old... XD

Well, if you say so... XD;; I'll try and be creative. I'm nervous. I guess I'll come up with something that maybe combines the best of both worlds or something, though you might have to forgive me if it comes out pretty crazy. 
Did the characters do anything notable in London or America at some point? My only other option I can think of is creating an AU in which KUWT takes place in the 40's too, during World War II, if that's acceptable. That might open some interesting ideas, and maybe some revamping of my bios in the process. XD

Agnieszka studied medicine in London and met her first love Athelstan there)) Athel was a British pilot who died heroically there during the war.
I'm not sure about other characters (except Jane who's not mine but it doesn't mean you can't use her^^ She's a British journalist originally living in Victorian times. MLS is an alternate universe for her: her canon story is connected with Detecitive Basil. So in this case Stas is her au husband. Funny fact that in MLS she is a canon character, right?)

I like AUs; even though the ones I did for KUWT are played up for jokes sake, the ones I like the most are the role-reversals or different decision-making. (the one I had in mind for Funday dying than being spared in Issue 3 really pisses people off, LOL)

Judging from what I read in Aude's comment, I think he'd hate Funday. XD; Svenn hates authority otherwise I'd say he'd be the only one to work with him - ideology differences aside - maybe not closely working together but as distant working partners or something, like Svenn being an insider.
Agni and Jane might go well with Beverly and Funday; Beverly and Anthel I can see happening. Patrick would probably hit up most if not all the women on this list, I'd imagine Stas would do the same in return, lol. XD
Hm... can't say much for LeBrand or Milon or Miranda, seeing as they're like a traveling circus/gambling roadshow, so that rules them out. Plus Miranda's a big cat, lol, with a busty pair of breasts. XD

Agnieska Blazhewitch:
A secret marriage between a German soldier and a Polish nurse... I have to say it is a good basis for a plot, since we are in a time when Germany was lead by a man who had an ill racial ideology (I will say more about that when I come to Kaiser). Since I assume she might be Slavic, it could be even more of a conflict, should that be the case. And the art I have seen while browsing a bit in your gallery supports that.
Alois Genz:
Basically the rodent version of what happened to medicine in Germany back then. Include that with experiments for creating a super soldier and you got yourself someone, who just fits right into the setting. He also looks pretty eccentric.
Jane Ashford:
I lack info right now, but her name implies that she is... American, I would say. I am not sure if names ending with ford are common in Britain.
Ricardo Matias:
Informations are missing, but I assume that his story takes place after WWII.
Asthelstan Unsworth:
British pilot, believes in Krishna... hmm, that is certainly interesting. I assume that is from a Indian travel of either him or a family member... or simply interest in that. There are many ways how that would come into addition. His personality seems reserved but friendly... well, he does show the positive traits of a Brit. I kind of like him.
Zven Waldeck:
Okay, now I touch the character, who could be hardest. Because he is a protagonist, yet also one with an extremely controversial ideology behind him. However, his character design is very reflecting to a lot of people who came to the SS during the reign of Hitler. People with personal problems usually found no trust in the Weimarian Republic and were easily seduced by Hitler. And soldiers... well, German soldiers were extremely loyal and obidient back then, which made them perfect puppets for that system. Combine that with insanity and he basically is clearly not a man, who can be considered a role idol. In my opinion you managed it quite well to create a character with a national-socialistic background without making it controversial... at least as much as it can be avoided.
Bernhard Stadler:
Buffed out General... he is basically like Genz a character designed to be opposed against, as he is definitely anything but relatable. He is quite surely a person with sexual overdrive and also the temperament of... a stereotypical German soldier at that time. I guess the fact that he is also a harcore-nazi makes him a person that probably will get problems once Nürnberg comes by... if he survives that long.
Alejo Matias:
I am still trying to get over the fact that he is loving his sister in a... very specific way. I will be honest, it is kinda disturbing to me.
Elsa Milch:
Okay, I was not expecteing that she creeps me out even more... whips made from... that makes Genz and Stadler appear like decent rodent beings in comparison. She embodies a strange type of German stereotype. While I would say most Germans back then were overly lead by emotional blindness, she is more rational... but lacking morality, which makes here quite... gruesome. Her last name becomes quite ironic, if I think about it.
Engel Waldeck:
Well, he is kind of a son of someone... I wonder how much that will be a problem to him.
Stanislav Kalinin:
Soviet spy, that sounds good. He did get more positive traits to him, so despite him being probably a bad role model with his use of alcohol and smoking habits, he probably is quite charming. Well, he is a spy after all, so that is a personality that has to be expected. I mean, Richard Sorge was quite famous for that when he spied for the Soviets.
Oksana Doschenko:
Unknown to me, yet. She seems to be in the same league as Stanislav, though.
Teresa Matias:
Other than her relationship with her brother, I don't have anything else so far to talk about her, yet.
Günther Kaiser:
First of all... the last name kind of reflects what people saw in his real-life counterpart: a person of authority. Now... I guess I can assume he is pretty much Hitler as a mouse, so I assume he is eaten up by madness, ideologically dangerous, superstitious, believing in certain traits being superior while having none of them (perhaps that's why he is so small here), talks in a manner that will make all people think Germans are aggressive, and is probably born in Austria. That would be the nutshell version.

A small question: Can it be that albinism is basically what is considered pure-blooded? Because apart from Genz all Nazi characters seem to be albinos.
