Ok...thought it was time to upload another new image...this is my Witch Tree....i can only ever find it when it snows.....i hope you all enjoy it! Please do leave comments on it - both on your responses and on any comments re the image itself. Cheers!!!Now available as a print!!
Ok...had a wierd thought - if anyone can catch the 1000th view of this image will win a A4 print of it - almost there now so keep looking...!!

Oh, I've somehow never faved this photo. Each time I see it on your profile I have to visit the deviation. It's such a beautiful tree and a beautiful photo. Right now the tree reminds me of a dancing creature.

Lol!! Yes, a dancing figure is what I see, others have seen a birds nest or goblin...but she's always a beautiful witchy lady to me

they are good fun, you just need to find one that has real character to it, and that you can find again easily/in bad weather...i was lucky to find the snow version first as normally when it's snowing up there, I can't get there!

I did a similar thing when I was at college as part of my work but over a much shorter period.

I rarely find Photography that I like that is not a study of the human form, but wow! Excellent composition the framing is beautiful. I love the sense of frozen motion. and it fits well with my mood. Bravo.

I love it. I have just like it, mine has hugh thorns, the whole bit. It's all twisted and gnarley looking.
I think it is beautiful and has some special meaning. I will try to get a picture of mine up before the
weekend is over.

aww! well, no-one claimed it...shows just hw much attention people pay to descriptions...!! perhaps i should amend the prize to 'your weight in gold' and then you could mention it on the forums etc and create a new urban myth..i'll take it down as soon a s a couple of people have looked at it....!!
