Xenos getting their own roleplay spinoff? Neat. It's cool that the crescent shaped flash from their pulse rifles are back.

Taking cover in this open field doesn't seem like a great idea Shas'la,

Taking cover? Β You mean taking a kneeling firing position for increased stability? Β O.o?

I'm having trouble discerning the meaning behind what you're trying to say.

Kurocyn In reply to Samuel-Havana [2014-07-24 15:54:58 +0000 UTC]

That kneeling does not equate to "taking cover." Β It is far more likely that the Shas is kneeling in order to better stabilize their pulse rifle and therefore increase their accuracy. Β

Taking cover would imply there was a protective barrier of some sort. Β Or at least a crater / uneven ground...

I don't think you caught onto the sarcasm of "Taking cover in an open field" which is an oxymoron, which I hope you understand gives away hints that I was making a jest about highlighting the general un-safeness of storming out into the open while getting shot at.

Yes, quite. Β And I hope you understand that I was responding to a general statement whose only context seemed as though you had misspoke.

Thus, when you responded to my comment, seemingly oblivious to the definition of a stable firing position; I clarified further. Β

My apologies.

I'm not oblivious to your gunwank tactical chairforce operator knowledge, it just wasn't the point I was trying to make.

Really like it. The electric explosives for the muzzle flashes are a nice touch!
