I sit here and wait,For the sun to return to the sky.
To watch him rise and fall.
Constantly searching for her,
Waiting for her to catch his light.
Unknowing of the one waiting patiently for him.
But still he searches,
Night and day,
Casting his light on anyone who will see.
Looking for his lover,
To tell her that's been trying to find her.
Every morning he peeks over,
Hoping to catch a glimpse of her.
And every evening he gives up,
Until the next morning.
Forever chasing her,
Rising and falling just for her.
So I guess I'll be like him,
Constantly searching for him,
Rising and falling.
