His parents, while they are loving and they try, are neglectful
Ben’s Transmale and bisexual, he might be Polyamorus too but he’s unsure yet
Got on hormone blockers at age 13, but he came out when he was 10
He realized he was Transmale due to Four Arms, because he felt right in the Tetramand’s body. This means that, yes, he came out during the road trip over summer
His parents often like to joke about this, “What came home wasn’t our daughter…it was our son <3”
Ofc they only joke to trusted people who Ben himself has told
They might be neglectful but they sure as shit won’t out him to people he doesn’t trust. They have boundaries
Im considering writing a whole ass fanfiction for this Transmale headcanon/AU. Unfortunately I’d have to give him a deadname, and I do Not want to do that. I may be trans myself but I sure as shit won’t give someone a deadname without good reason (aka, that one weird ass story I wrote that isn’t even public due to deadnaming a trans character is the only exception to this.)
Four Arms is probably Ben’s favorite alien because it was Four Arms who made Ben realize he was trans
Poor kid got bullied harshly in school
At first he couldn’t decide on a name, and was even debating calling himself Four Arms. Luckily Gwen shut that down with the suggestion of rhyming names
