Description
Kodiak and Ruvik both were wandering around until Ruvik caught a scent of another tokota in the forest like area. Ruvik paused when he spotted a tundra tokota then at his side where his handler, Kodiak was supposed to be but all he saw was footsteps leading to the tokota. Ruvik looked back at the tokota and walked forward, seeing his handler clinging to the neck of the still bubbly tokota."Sorry about him.. You have one of his favorite markings" Ruvik grumbled and he picked up Kodiak by his jacket and dropped him on the ground, but he got up again. Kodiak decided to say something to soothe the toko,
"I am Kodiak and this is Ruvik, you may be?" Kodiak gave a slight bow and Ruvik nodded his head as they waited for her to give her response,
"I'm Raide.” He introduced himself calmly as he lowered his head from the dark amber gaze of Ruvik who then moved his gaze to his handler who had started petting the black pointed tokota. Ruvik rolled his eyes and threw Kodiak on his back, to keep him away from the new toko.
“Would you like to join us? We are going to drop a couple of friends off so they could go caving If so you may have to wait on a friend of ours who will also be joining us today.” Ruvik mumbled, before he heard the bushes then a large greying brown dire emerged from the green bushes.
“I'm ready to go are y-- Who is that?” The scarred up dire glared upon Raide, his blue eyes narrowing at the black pointed male. The roan yeti behind him looked at the black pointed male then at Koning, the large dire huffed and changed his mind,
“Forget it. Let’s go.” Koning began walking, Iluliaq followed, her two companions at her heels. Koning was walking alongside his own companions, sprinkles of water splashed against the faces of the dire and against the grass, leaving a trail of mud and wet grass. The water elemental companion’s lower body spun like a tornado of water. Beside the elemental walked another black cat companion. The group travelled to their destination, Kodiak ended up falling asleep on Ruvik’s back at one point but then the tundra piebald male shook him when they arrived to their meeting point. Kodiak jolted awake and rubbed his eyes, looking around at the blurry scene in front of him. When his vision cleared he spotted Tikkarr and stretched, sitting up straight on Ruvik’s back, Raide standing right next to them. Kodiak got off of the back of Ruvik and limped slightly over to his friend, trying not to slip in the mud that the water elemental created. Tikkarr greeted Kodiak with open arms and a small smile, despite the fact that Tikkarr wasn’t one for showing emotions. Koning, his companions, Iluliaq, and her companions all waited patiently for the handlers to silence themselves so that they can continue to the caves.
“The new guy here is Koning, Squeeg couldn’t make it today.” Kodiak finally said after the conversation the two had begun to engage in. Tikkarr nodded and motioned for them to follow when he began to walk. Koning and Iluliaq followed him, with their companions at their sides. Before they knew it the ground started rumbling beneath them, they all stopped walking and looked down at the ground. Koning saw cracks forming in the brown surface, he was about to make a run for it but the ground crumbled and took the crew down with it.
When they awoke they found themselves in a dark place dotted with luminescent plants, bodies of water, and other objects. Koning got to his mighty paws and shook his large head, Iluliaq stood and shook her long fur free of dirt and other minerals. The handler pushed himself back up but tripped over one lump of fur and then tripped over another lump of fur, finally slipping in a water puddle and falling onto the ground again with a loud
“Ooff!” Tikkarr yelped as his body hit the ground, he looked around for the cause and spotted that the two lumps of fur were the two black cat companions that had been dragged along into this cave and he saw the water companion who had left the mud puddle. Tikkarr noticed that there was one companion that was not accounted for so he stood and began to search for the missing animal. Koning watched the handler stumble around looking for someone or something and didn’t show any facial expression, nor did he give any opinion to the stupidity of what the man was doing. Iluliaq just tilted her head in confusion but kept her jaws shut. Tikkarr kept searching until he felt something unusual underfoot, then a yowl of pain was heard and he looked down, moving his foot away and spotted the black paw of Iluliaq’s pygmy cave lion companion.
“Sorry about that, I didn’t see you there, well let’s get moving.” Tikkarr recovered from the shock of stepping on the companion’s paw. He started walking away from the group before the others started walking behind him. Koning huffed and watched Iluliaq’s black cat companion hop on her back and sit there, hitching a ride, while the larger companions continued to walk at the side of the tokotas. Tikkar paused when the earth trembled but only for a brief moment. Tikkar glanced back at the tokotas and companions behind him who had also stopped due to the trembling of the earth. There were sudden little bursts, only short bursts, of trembling before the ground goes still.
“What in the world is that trembling?” Koning grumbled as their path began to thin out, forcing them into walk in a line.
“If I knew I would tell you I can guarantee that.” Tikkarr mumbled, his hand going to his engraved axe. Koning opened his mouth and let out his response in a sarcastic tone,
“Gee. Really would you have done that? Oh wait it was guaranteed.” Tikkarr grumbled something under his breath but Koning didn’t bother to pester him about what his words were that he dared not to say to his face. Iluliaq was just shaking her head as she walked behind Koning, until there was a loud thud, her paws stopped working and she felt her two companions crash into her legs. She watched as Koning kept on walking, stepping over the fallen handler, who then stood up, brushing himself off and glaring at the greying brown dire that continued his way down the narrowing path, his companions following him. Tikkarr motioned for Iluliaq to keep walking when he did. Tikkarr followed Koning only to soon crash right into his leg, just like one of the companions, when suddenly, both the black cat companions, and Iluliaq’s pygmy cave lion companion bolted in front of Koning, Unlike Iluliaq, Koning didn’t budge. Iluliaq tried to get by to chase after her companion.
“Koning one of your companions just bolted…. Hello? Earth to dire?” Tikkar tried to get Koning to move, until there was a loud crash which seemed to be right in front of them.
They had ended up in the rock elemental’s territory of the caves.
