Description A man walked alongside a river, two Tokotas trailing behind him. He occasionally would glance back at them to make sure that they were still following close behind. The big greying brown dire, Koning kept his head held high but let out a huff of boredom fore they had been walking for days now, just to go to a cave, instead of the one that they heard was enchanted. This bummed him out a bit, but he did not argue. Beside him walked a cream tundra female with flecking, also looked grumpy, but she was content with her snake plush within her jaws, she missed her handler, but was reassured that he would be okay without her.

This man by the name of Sloan, was not very good with caves and was displeased to hear that they were even going caving in the first place, much less that there was an option to go to an enchanted cave. He knew it displeased Koning but he refused to change his mind, caves were never his favourite thing in the first place and he didn't believe he would start liking them any time soon, possibly ever. Sloan shielded his eyes from the harsh rays of the sun before looking behind him to check on the two.
“How are you guys holding up?” he asked pausing for the tokotas who were treading slowly. Koning just gave him an uninterested grunt while the female Sage dropped the snake from her jaws to reply,
“I still don’t understand why we have to go to this cave when the enchanted one is much more interesting not to mention. Oh...I dunno...fun?” Sloan sighed and rubbed his temples as he started walking again. He thought a moment then a smirk grew on his face.
“Will you come if I...well...I don’t know….had candy?” he asked holding up a bag on little pieces of all types of candy. The marked cream colored tundra perked up her head, her green eyes locked on to the bag.
“That is blasphemy! Trying to distract me with candy!,”

    Sloan smiled and shrugged asking
“Well? Did it work?” she tilted her head and sighed nodding furiously. Sloan started unwrapping the candy while Sage pulled the plush snake around her neck anxious for the candy. The group of three continued to walk through the forest as the moon peeked through the hills.
“I think we should stop for the night what do you guys think?” Sloan asked curiously looking up at the sky through the treetops. A grunt from Koning was heard while Sage gave a “sure,” in reply. The cream tokota snatched the candy out of the air as it was thrown to her and chomped on it happily her paw set firmly on the snake. When half the candy was gone the black haired man stuck the bag in his jacket pocket before stretching and looking at the two Tokotas,
“Well goodnight Sage, Koning.” he said with a yawn, sitting against the rough bark of a nearby tree. Sloan relaxed his body against the tree, closing his eyes and allowing his body to drift off into a deep sleep.

Koning waited until it got dark before he got up and woke Sage. The cream flecking female opened her green eyes, allowing her gaze to rest upon the large dire. With a huff of slight satisfaction, Koning used his head to motion for her to follow. She did. Once they were a ways from Sloan, she paused.
“Hey wait, where are we going?” she inquired a frown forming on her face, Koning did not turn around but responded with,
“To the enchanted cave. I think it'd be obvious by now.” He said and in a quick response she replied,
“Just like how it should be obvious you are about to run into a tree?” He was staring off at something until he heard her words and crashed right into a tree. The aloof male huffed with frustration, but did not make up an excuse for it. Sage smiled and looked up at the moon glowing brightly against the black blanket of sky.
“So we’re just leaving Sloan there?” she asked curiously giving a quick glance to the man shrinking in the distance.
“He will never allow it so we are just going to have to go by ourselves.” Koning replied weaving through the trees as they got closer to each other.

Minutes past until the trees parted again and dark looming rocks appeared in front of them. Vines covering the cold slabs of solid mineral. “Welcome to the Enchanted cave please watch your paws as you exit,” Sage said with an eye roll as Koning approached the ominous entrance. Sage face out a defiant huff, standing outside the entrance, while Koning walked right into the cave. The cream tundra moved her eyes to her green snake plush that she always kept with her, often times around her neck. She took it in her jaws and followed after Koning.

The dark of the cave surrounded the two Tokotas as if they were being eaten by shadows. The sound of a rock echoed from one of the tunnels and Sage spun towards that tunnel. Koning walked down a different one, his dark fur allowing him to blend in with the dark that surrounding him, making it look like he actually did get swallowed by shadows. Sage turned just before his tail disappeared, running after him, in her mind she was thinking, I'm too old for this but Koning did not seem to care about that, if he had even noticed. Sage stuck close. Behind Koning, wishing that she had taken some of Sloan’s candy stash for herself before they left, unfortunately she did not. She kept her snake tightly clasped between her teeth as the two moved through the new tunnel, Koning’s paws thud against the ground loudly, due to the animal’s size. Koning blocked most of the path, blocking the female’s vision, with his butt. She gave a huff in disgust, but Koning did not respond to it.
“We should go now.” Sage got a bad feeling as she wiggled around and went back out of the tunnel. Koning wiggled too, but just seemed to get more stuck, taking him awhile to exit the tunnel after her.

The flecking female was paused at the entrance of the tunnel, looking to her kef t and to her right, trying to remember which way they had come from. Koning on the other hand was not that worried about it at all. He pushed passed her and went right, with Sage at his heels. Sage took her beloved snake plush from around her neck and held it in her jaws as she was led through the cave, Koning was not about to let an opportunity pass by and he decided to go the wrong way on purpose so they could continue to explore this enchanted cave before Sloan woke and found them missing. Knowing Sloan he probably would keep an eye on the two at all times after he finds out, so why not just stay in the cave? Sage did not know the way out so she was stuck following Koning, yet she still did not know where she was being led to, until they passed by an exit, light shining through it.
