Description
this is the humber bridge, in east yorkshire, england. it's pretty close to where im from. taken from the north bank in hessle.i had to get right underneath the bridge and the tide was coming in so my feet got a little bit soggy that day. but i think it was worth it.

Very nice, and as you say - worth the soggy feet! I really like the colours you've got in this photo. Sepia filter?? The perspective is cool as well it can be a choice of near to far or like a dagger point if you see what I mean.
The bridge itself almost fades into the distance giving a sense of mystery to what lies over the other side.
Have you tried shooting this again in different conditions or with a night sky backdrop? I reckon that would make a good series

thank you C: yes, i used a sepia filter, but you can get some interesting colours naturally when the sun is behind the bridge for some reason. i really like the perspective as well. i drive under the bridge quite a lot, but only recently went to take the picture.
i keep meaning to go back at night to take more photos with a tripod. the lights on the bridge always make a nice reflection on the water. i'd have to get a night where the river wasn't too rough though - there are usually a few waves and so i don't have to swim, the tide would have to be out. the moon was nice last night and that could make a nice reflection too C:

yeah, my photos have stacked up quite a bit from all the trips i've been on recently. although i think da have automatically deleted some of the notifications that were older than a certain date, because i had just over 30000 when i left a few days ago and now i've only got 13000.
