I really like these photo's that combine the natural with man-made features. It hopefully shows that artificial structures have a certain beauty to them too. I'm biased though, being an engineer myself.

I like the placement of the sun in the center and the pylon offset to one side - the composition works well to show off the whole landscape. In personal preference I would have included more of the ground section - but that's why photography is a good hobby - so much variety!

If I maybe so bold; Would you mind commenting on one or two of my photos of a similar nature?

Thank you. I am a geologist, and so find myself taking more pictures of landscapes and rocks than structures most of the time, but man made structures can still be beautiful. The Humber Bridge [link] for example is a structure which I find myself visiting over and over again.

I cropped the bottom of the photo because I wanted to keep the land in silhouette. It wasn't quite dark enough for the field to be in silhouette as well and the brightness of the green kind of drew my attention from the sky and wires. Also, I wanted to get rid of the sheep...

Of course, I shall take a look C:

Cool, no worries it looks good in silhouette Living in Wales I understand about the wildlife problem It's either include them or lure them out of shot with sweets heheheh.

And thanks very much for your comment on some of my photo's it was very helpful

Sounds like a pretty awesome life! I've just got back from Ireland myself. A gorgeous place that you can barely do justice to with photo's.

Sheep? Tons of them - more than people I think, hehehe. They like sweet and anything you unfortunately leave out of your tent,
