I write poems in the hope that

you'll read them out loud,

because emotions are Build-A-Bear

animals with a special noise for each.

If hearing yourself cry makes you wanna

scream makes you wanna

smack your lips shut makes you wanna

giggle makes you want to

cry some more,

I'm all ears.

I want the uncut diamond,

and I will dig if I must.

Yes:

Give me the raw and the real —

we're rolling,

and I don't wanna miss a single second

of the awkwardbeatiful

erupting from our lips in ink transcended

into silence.

Yes, that's one of the messages in this poem, but there's another message that conflicts with it: that my real goal is not ink, but sound. Writing ("ink") is beautiful, but sound (and the lack thereof) is far more powerful ("ink transcended").

Hmm...to my shame i shall admitt that this one didn`t really make much sense to me...
if im reading this right, it seems to me that you are saying you want to write using raw emotions, yes?
no planning or anything of the sort involved, just pure emotion transfering through the pen, into the ink, and onto paper. (or in this case, keyboard)

is this right or am i completly wrong in this regard?

The last stanza is charged with the emotion that you've been building up. Very well done.
