Description
A bit out of my usual wheelhouse, but I recently constructed a costume based off the NCR Veteran Ranger armour from Fallout: New Vegas and I'm going to post some pictures of that soon.

One important thing to note:
It's far from screen accurate. That is intentional. I had neither the resources nor the skills needed to make a screen accurate rendition, so I decided to make my own spin on it. I decided on a slightly more grounded aesthetic (seriously, what is with that skin-tight little helmet?) that drew from last century's military designs.

The main components of the costume include:
-A pepakura mask, plasti-dipped, papier mached and painted
-An EVA foam chestplate, primed and painted
-A thrift store trench coat that I'm still on the fence about weathering
-Some old clothing I had, abused to hell and back, then stained with coffee and distress inks
-A used surplus Hungarian M70 helmet
