I promised a Tutorial and here it is.
It consists of Settings, Lineart, Coloring, Shading, Lighting and Background Transparency + Stroke.

Oh yes, I definitely found it useful! I actually keep going back to it, and it's helped me a LOT with learning to utilize way more elements of SAI. I was just kind of scared to try it cuz everything was so different from familiar programs, and I didn't know much about it, but now I like it so much better and use it more than photoshop. That was really helpful. You must be a real patience savant, to create a such detailed tutorial.
I just remembered how much the process of making art is complicated, especially when it comes to finishing one's drawing (colors, shading, light sources mainly). That trick with second light source is a really difficult feat to achieve, but you have pulled it. You're very skilled, lass.

This is freaking awesome sauce.
I am using this as we speak. (got sai recently and been sucking at it and stuck with PS until I saw this.)Β

actually except for one or two small typos (just a letter missing) it was perfectly understandable and easy to follow. I was using a differnt version of Sai (which confused me when I tried to find the 'light&lumi' setting (just lumiosity in mine) but other then that it was perfect to us, and THANK you for showing the settings of your tools! That helped the most Β (I hate it when I find a great tutorial but cant follow the settings as they describe it because I have no idea what they're referring to.)
Also the shading/lighting section was the best as it was always a problem for me.
I'll be uploading them a little later today. Thanks again!

I took a look again and I definatly do not have that setting (in either example you showed me) which is weird maybe I need to check what version Β have...Β
In any case your tut was still really awesome and helped alot. I'll probably be referring to it alot as I continue drawing in it.

I love your tutorial and style. I'm giving your techniques a try and of course it is easy for you because this is what you do but I am sure trying and I think my piece isn't turning out too bad... Not as lovely as your gorgeous beastie creature but I'm working with how you shade/ color just to change up my routine and find it fun and refreshing. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial!
