Description Well, my last deviation was of a girl named Freya who wore a choker with the Rider symbol on it. I suppose this is her Rider Combat Form? I dunno, maybe I'll design a heavy armor form like Kabuto had.

The left arm has a charge system that allows her to perform a Rider Punch, the right leg which is hidden in this picture has a charge system that allows her to perform the Rider Kick. This used a lot of stuff from my favorite Rider Series Kabuto, however, for those that know about the original first few seasons of the series her henshin belt is modeled after V.3. or Version 3. So, I decided to name her Kamen Rider V for Version as it's an amalgamation of different versions of the Rider suit.

For people that know me you'll notice I snuck in some Guyver related design parts. Mainly the helmet, but the Combat arm is modeled after the forearm armor of a Guyver as well.

I think I'm starting to really grasp how to use my graphics tablet properly.

VoilΓ ! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venalο»Ώ and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance. A vendetta, held as a vote, if not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous... [chuckles]... Verily, this viciousο»Ώ assuage of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you, and you may call me "Kamen Rider V".
.......Anyway, nicely done! ^_^

Nah, most hid in their human forms because the belts were in the hands of people who didn't like Orphenocs. Then again, yuka, kiba, and that snake guy were all good orphenocs so they only used their powers when it was needed for defense.

Or in the case of Kiba, whenever Faiz showed up because he just didn't like Faiz to begin with. I guess all the Rider Kicking he did to the Orphenocs upset Kiba.

Excellent rendition of a lady Rider, especially with the Guyver touches. There should be more lady Riders. Speaking of that, did you see Kamen Rider Kiva 31, where Yuri (1986) and Megumi (2008) used the IXA System? (Sorry if I spoiled anything for you there.)

lol, you haven't spoiled anything, I'm up to episode 40 in that series currently. And yeah, that was epic. Though, it does burn my ass that Kengo has IXA now. If you recall earlier in the series the Aozora leader mentioned that Kiva could be a threat to humanity.

Nago made the decision that if Wataru had the power of Kiva it was all fine. And NOW, Kengo has assaulted Kiva, forcing King and Bishop to act and awaken the Fangire inside of Wataru, making him the threat they feared all along.

It's like a lot of philosophers have said, "humanity has a bad habit of creating monsters." You see it a lot in speculative fiction where there is either a wide cross-section or a small segment of humanity that is aware of "posthuman life" existing among them. They fear those posthumans, they seek to either control or contain them if not outright eliminate them, and in the process they radicalize those posthumans who might have otherwise sought a peaceful life into becoming the threats to humanity that these humans who sought to control, contain, or eliminate them feared they would become. The current plot in Season 3 of Heroes shows shades of this, and X-Men did this years before Heroes was a twinkle in Jeph Loeb's eye, and there are probably other examples that I've forgotten or just not heard of.

Don't forget the opposite reaction of the post humans going on the offensive first, like the Orphenocs in Kamen Rider 555. Those guys were just downright mean.

True, but from what I can recall, the Orphenochs were lashing out at a world they felt didn't want them around and were striking first to pre-empt being stomped out by fearful humans who were made aware of their existence.

Actually, that was the original premise of their attacks. In the end it was revealed they actually wanted to crush humanity and rule over them via their Orphenoc King as they were the next step in the evolution of humanity. However, as stated by the original leader of Smart Brain, the sudden evolution causes cellular break down and only the Orphenoc King could keep them from dieing out naturally.

Except when the Orphenoch King "upgrades" them, they're "trapped" in their evolved states, meaning that they've lost the final shreds of their humanity. Of course, with the mentality you're describing, they probably wouldn't mind that.
