Good tension! Also, there is something about the colors that I like very much; the setting is dark, but there are enough bright points to capture my eye. Pretty dang fine chainmail, too, I gotta say.

Thanks. I wish I could say the coloring was part of masterful execution of a well thought out plan, but the truth is, the colors were picked on instinct.
The chainmail is just a matter of patience while drawing teeny, tiny, circles until your yes goo crossed. Thanks for the kind words.

This looks too good to be "Beginner Art"! (I found this from the BeginnerArtists group) I guess it is though. The texture makes it look more awesome than it is... That, and the badass poses the characters have! But I guess it does look beginner. Just not stickman beginner!
I think any kind of negatives a person could've pointed out were covered by the person who posted right before me, back in May.

If this was in beginner Art club then someone put there without my knowledge. I'm not a member of that group. I did place it a folder marked beginner in another group, but I can't remember which one. I belong to lotsa groups.

No big deal. Its just that I've had art stolen on DA, so I wanted to see if it had happened again.

I find that the fire's glow isn't realistic or believable, it doesn't look like it's shining on anything because the lighting is also a little dull. The ground looks a little too raised for this aspect ratio and the folds are kind of strange looking, I think it's because they are drawn too thick or they're just drawn the wrong way (look up folds tutorial on here, there are many). The girl's hair looks a little lopsided as well... same with her right hand.
The poses are done well

I really like the lighting effect on the wall
The poses are all nice too - the girl's clothes remind me a bit of Raven from Teen Titans

Thanks for the look. Thelighting was my reason for doing this piece, becasue I struggle with lighting.
I used to be a Titans fan, back in the days when Grummet, Vey, and Wolfman were doing the comic book.
