Description
Somehow I got back into freelancing again, this is made for the team GislΓΆvs IF in the internet football manager game hattrick. Feels good to be back!Created in Photoshop 7 in about 3 days time, working on and off.
Comments and suggestions are very welcome, this may not be the final piece so every suggestion will be taking into consideration! Thanks.

This is a fantastic piece of pixel art featuring a fantastic game. I first noticed the detail in the stands which is spectacular. Other things I like about this include the great grass textures you've done (the stripes on the field are subtle but useful), the structure lines, and the rounded overhang for the red stands.
The stadium actually reminds me of something right out of Sim City. I bet you could drop this in and it would fit perfectly. Such great details and overall scaling are what makes this piece so nice.
My only suggestions would be to add a bit of texture to the outside walls (the two facing us) and change the "Gislovs IF" text, which looks a bit scribbled there rather than bold and solid as a sign on a building should be. Otherwise though, I'm very impressed with the quality of this piece.

Outstanding. The fact that it is a fooball (real football!) field, and an 'english classic' style one at it, makes it show a sense of atmosphere that is really interesting.
The quality and detail are awe-striking, and thus the DD was very well deserved. Now - time to go look for that internet manager game, I love those games!!!

This is pretty impressive indeed. So much detail, such nice textures. You have progresses so much since the first time I have seen you here. There's one thing that puzzles me though, and that is about that section with the red seats. The way you made them, it looks like there are less seats than there should be. Maybe it's an optical illusion but that's how it looks to me.
As well, I have one tip for this particular scene, and it is about the lime lines over the field. I think you can achieve an even more realistic result if you don't use white. Rather, try with a few different colors (some of them can be light green shades) and alternate them to create a less uniform design. If you look at stadium photos, the lime lines never look so "pure" (for lack of a better word). Colors that blend better with the green you used for the pitch will do the trick.

nice. really really nice. a match would be a nice addition, maybe even a little Pixel-David Beckham... even a night match, with stadium lights and such, that would be cool. but that's really incredible.
