Description
This started out from an early stage of a painting I posted earlier this year but already deleted because it was one of those "crappy" ones. But I quite liked the dynamics of the initial sketch so I just worked on it and tried not to overdo it. I tried to maintain as much as possible from the initial energy but introduced more details where it was needed.I hope this doesn't end up in the "crappy" folder as I usually have no idea if a painting is successful or not until the "community" has its say.

Well, I feel bad for this guy. I mean come on it's not like he just got up, and said, "I'm a go to work today and fight a giant monster." His breakfast probably sucked, he may found out his girlfriend was cheating on him that day, the king told him he wasn't happy with his work so he's being demoted from the royal guards, and this giant monster attacks his new station on his first day.
