Here's the ink version of my redesign of Robert E. Howard's character, Kull. The idea was to make him look different than Conan and have his own identity. I also created the visual design for the creature behind Kull.

Inks always give to images an strong wich lead pencils don't have.

Your inking is so amazing, the textures and details... my brain is positively giddy every time I see you've posted more work. I'm sure the scan can only do your artwork so much justice
Did you use an ink wash or some other medium in this piece? It looks like some places have a gray cast to them, like the armor and his axe. Or perhaps my eyes just can't make out the tiny cross hatching?

I added some pencil shading on this drawing, like on Kull's face and other places. I knew I would be coloring it myself.
