i dunno i think one of the other metroid characters should be in, like one of samus' old bounty hunter friends she had to battle in the prime series. one of those would work.

To be fair, Toon Link drives the train in the Spirit Tracks stage on 3DS, and is replaced by some other character when he himself is fighting.
But still, there's no way Ridley's gonna be a character.

yea that is one thing that really made me hope that he wasn't playable, then they say that if tl is in the spirit tracks stage as a character, the other guyΒ from spirit tracks drives the train.
well there went the whole cloneless theory in smash bros, but nobody started really ranting til lucina came in, which to me made no sense why they'd start when two clones were already confirmed.
