Another -sona Week at Tumblr, this time was Gemsona! So I did Leopardite because I've always wanted to make an OC with scars! It's a weird bucket wish but I did it so it makes me happy!

Leopardite has their gem on their left ankle, the bumpy bone part that protrudes outwards. To activate, they tap their ankles with the tips of their pointer fingers and the gem transforms into runner boots! That's probably a good reason why Leopardite has bandages around their legs.

After some time pondering, I went back and looked. And cringed, UGH I DON'T HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH REASON WHY THERE ARE HEADPHONES ON THIS CHARACTER, WHY DID I DO THAT. So I'm thinking of revamping Leopardite's appearance later. Oh! Also, I'm giving them a episodic one-shot where they appear in Steven Universe, looking for their adoptive sibling-like figure called Tiger Eye! I've got a design for Tiger Eye so maybe next time you see Leopardite, you'll be seeing them with Tiger Eye! Where Tiger Eye's gem going to be? It's pretty obvious by the name, isn't it? ...I don't think there are any restrictions to where the transformation gem is supposed to be on a Gem.
