I was watching Michiko to Hatchin on youtube and kept replaying the opening theme, paraiso (i cant put the accent on the 'i'), and the song along w/ the show led to a poem which lead to a story idea which led to a drawing to match. I think I like the sketch w/out the colors better, because i'm really not too good w/ digital paint. might try again later. anyways, left to right, these are the two main characters Ysabel and Somaya. I don't know what it is about 's' names, but i find that the majority of characters i draw end up with an 's' somewhere in their name. oh well. Please check the story out at [link] !
