Trying something a little bit different concerning with style. I'm kinda thinking about drawing something Sonic-related, but I just keep on having Mega Man in my mind for a drawing XD, and randomly this one particularly Sonic style popped up in my head as well as doing a new drawing related to Mega Man Zero, so I mixed them into a crossover pic. XD

It's Zero (Mega Man Zero) in Sonic Riders style!

Now I don't think I've ever owned a Sonic Riders game before, but I did briefly see the games, which are basically Sonic racing games on hoverboards; the hoverboards in the games are known as "Extreme Gear" (if I remember correctly of what Extreme Gear is) and the Sonic characters have cool, race looks in the games, like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and most of the guys have sunglasses or goggles with boots that make them look all cool and girls like Amy, Cream, and Rouge have sporty outfits. Tho I gotta admit that racing games normally aren't my thing. Well anyway, I had this idea of a Sonic Riders crossover piece with another game series like Mega Man, starting off with my favorite red guy Zero (the Mega Man Zero Zero), mainly for experimenting with the style for the first time. Not only that, but I went my way to give Zero a new armor that would make him look like he's fit in 'Sonic Riders,' which was a bit more difficult than trying out the style itself. The armor is inspired by elements of that one special MMZ Zero kit with a modified version of his normal armor from Dimension Studios (Link ), as well as a few elements of ultimatemaverickx's own versions/redesigns of MMZ Zero (he makes really cool Mega Man art and designs, you definitely should check his Gallery out ). And Zero also sports a navy visor on his helmet similar to the sunglasses/goggles worn on most guy characters in 'Sonic Riders.' It's also very reminiscent to the visor of a variant of the Model Z armor (precisely the one on Giro's Model Z armor) from 'Mega Man ZX.'

Looking at this, I'd say I did a pretty good job on the Sonic Riders style for my first time drawing it. So I might do more of these in the future. I may do Ciel in this style next, and Aile as well, and maybe even X and Axl! 🤩
