I've been itching to do this for years!

I'm a big fan of Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids characters (I don't play the games). Their DAAAAAAH makes me giddy.

I never had time to do these Raving Rabbids fanarts, but recently, while I was in Toronto, I went to Bobby Chiu's workshop, and I really wanted to try his technic. What better subject than the Raving Rabbids cosplayed as my characters? This way I have fun while learning.

As for technic, well, the drawback is that I was sick like a dog (the next day I learned I had a chest infection... =_= ) so my notes are the best I could take at the time. In other words, they're crappy.
Which means that right after the greyscale I hit a road block and couldn't remember how to make the proper transition to color without it looking off, so I had to improvise with lots of adjustment layers. (So asking me how Bobby Chiu does it will warrant an answer like : Errr...)
But it turned out all right, not flawless but good enough it makes me happy.

For those curious, it's painting in greyscale then adding color and adjustment layers. (As far as I can remember) It's a technic like any other, just because you know it won't make you paint like Bobby Chiu. It's no better no worse than anything else, but it's always good to learn new technics. The important thing is practice, finding a technic you're comfy with and try not to stick to it too much (otherwise you don't learn).
I, for one, have a looooot to learn.
