Ella grew up inside of the fort. She was one of the only foals born that spring. Her mother and father were bred to produce her. She had a pretty lonely foalhood to be honest. Her mother was always helping around the sted and pulling the cart. She was either left to roam the fort or play around the farm. Ella’s owner had a wife and daughter. The young girl was about 9 years old when Ella was born. The girl was called Gracie, she has fiery red hair and an outgoing attitude. Ella was given to the young child as a present, like most kids got in the fort. Ella grew up trusting Gracie. The two would play for hours on end during the time when Gracie wasn’t helping her parents out with the farm. In Ella’s late foal years she began hanging around her mother more and was lightly trained for cart pulling. Mainly pulling a small wagon with a flour sack in it.
Adolescence:
Around her teenage years Ella started actual cart training. She preferred the carriage pulling to the heavy supplies. She did her job either way. Ella began to toy with the other horses emotions for amusement. She thought it entertaining to lead a horse on to believe she liked them then dump them at the last second and laugh. She’s never been good at keeping friendships because of this. Ella never really expressed her feelings, there was no one to express her feelings to for the most part. She’s seen what letting someone in can do to a person or a horse. It can utterly destroy them. Ella feels the need to not be the victim but the destroyer. A little later in her adolescence Ella fell for one of the mares she was manipulating. She let her in. The mare turned out to be straight and fell in love with a stallion. This infuriated Ella and she vowed from then to not fall for anyone ever again.

Not long after Ella graduated from training her mother retired and she took her place. Gracie took the place of her father and the two take care of the farm. Ella still likes to manipulate horses and flirt but she’s not very open to sharing things about herself.
