I painted this box as a gift for a coworker of mine for his birthday. He's an illustrator, so I figured he was always in need of something to hold his supplies in (like I am), and his favorite Disney character is Ariel, so this was the result.

The hinged box was purchased at Joann Fabrics. I sketched the image in pencil, then went over it in acrylic paint and micron pens, sealed the whole thing, and added stick-on crystals.
