Howdy! Finally uploaded the painted version.For anyone who hasn't seen the pencil version, this was a Design class project where I updated "Bathers with a Turtle" by some famous guy who's name I can't recall at the moment with the Super Mario Princess and enemies and environment and with more realism.
Funny story behind this one: I had only 48 hours to paint it, so I had to fore-go sleep the night before and ended up seriously half-assing the figures, thus, they have no shadowing. Sorry, but please enjoy anyway. Oh and I got an A+.

Lovely scene. The images to the left and right are a nice touch, making it look like a blanket hanging up, or a tapestry.
So... uh... when playing Super Mario Brothers, how do you get the images to zoom back far enough to catch the good stuff like this? I was never good at Easter Eggs.
You catch the nude mood (rhyme unintended) nicely. They're all mostly relaxed and comfortable, but with a ginger cautiousness that comes with being unprotected. They're okay with each others' presences, but wouldn't hug their fellows the same way they might clothed. Lovely.

Oh. Right. That really is a canvas. Or rather, a digital picture of a canvas. I feel dim; this site has a lot of artists who can pull off some incredible feats with drawing programs and photoshop, so sometimes I forget there are artists that work in other mediums.
As far as the lack of shading, that's fine. It makes them look a little more ethereal and cartoony, and they still have their shadows.

(GASP) OH SHIT!! Now this is one of my favorites! Peach, Daisy, and Mona all three NUDE!! I also want to see more nude Mona pictures if you got any? I'll bet Mario, Luigi, and Wario will shrink down to a jelly-bean sized plumbers if they see this. Excellent job on the characters and the background!
