It's about time I uploaded something animated that wasn't a Weeklings episode or a scrap! Unfortunately (unless you hate the voices, AND I'M SURE SOMEBODY MUST), I didn't record any voices for this, so they don't have mouths in a few shots. All you need to know is that it's them impersonating/mocking Madman.I randomly storyboarded this during Art, and then felt like animating it, as both a test for how the movie's animation may look (it'd be better with backgrounds), and as proof that Smit's on the same level as Jake. Smit's not smarter, he's just more rational.
I actually impressed myself with their laugh cycles at the end. DON'T TAKE THAT WAY FROM ME.

The idea for this one was actually spawned from watching 'Adventure Time' on YouTube. IT REMINDED ME THAT JAKE AND SMIT ACTUALLY HAVE TO SHOW SIGNS OF SHARED INTERESTS.

Ah.. Yeah.. I was actually thinking about shading in cartoons the other day.
I realized that most cartoons don't have shading. I mean it looks weird that the Simpsons movie has shading.

That's because it's difficult to make sure that the bends in the shading don't jump around when the characters move and when the added shading shows that extra step they took to make something look good. I'm sure you knew that already, but I like talking. XP

The cycles do look nice.
But in the beginning the "swish" thing.. with the hand pointing looks alittle weird/

It'd probably look better if his mouth was moving so that the hand wasn't the only thing you could look at. I do see what you mean, though. If I do go back and put voices in it, I'll fix that hand.

I have a tablet, but I only used it a few times during this. I have trouble controlling where the pen goes.

I never use the poor thing, so, to an extent, I don't have a tablet. I'm just better adapted to the mouse.
