Description
So here's my entry for the FF redesign contest over at Project Rooftop.Sadly, this wasn't one of my more inspired redesigns.
Im pretty in love with the current white outfits in the comics, so it was really hard for me to get away from that.
obviously haha
i tried to implement a sort of chemical graphic design onto the suits though. just a bit more of a stronger visual hint to the scientific side.

Everything about these designs are absolutely perfect. from the chemical compound looking circle and lines to reeds lab coat, also love the holo computers and johnny being in a short sleeve

Dude, don't underestimate your design, it's tight. I really like what you did with Human Torch, Letting those lines show through in white in the fire, nice touch man!

Love you work man, always inspiring, i was wondering how do you make such clean lines? i try in photoshop but i cant get them to look as preassure even and nice as those, probably a lot has to do with natural talent but if you can talk about that it would be super awesome, if not thats totally cool, thanks for such a great work, keep it up and great things will come, best of luck

Great re designs man, im a huge fan of your work, how you stylze the characters is really awesome. I dont know if its top secret but how do you draw such clean lines? if its all photoshop i dont know if you set you brush in a certain way, i try to do it in my intuos but my pulse is utter shit with it, if you cant talk about those things i totally understand man, we have to keep some tips for ourselves sometimes. Fantastic work man, hopefully you will keep this great art coming best of luck!

the ONLY thing i'm having an issue with is the four on things stomach, i really think he needs a belt/designy element to contain it and keep it from floating up onto bens stomach............ other than that........LOVE IT!

This is effectively what I'd deem the perfect Fantastic Four redesign. I absolutely adore it. It has the right amount of individuality to each design, whilst keeping them effortlessly recognizable as Marvel's First Family. I reckon the white gloves would make more sense, and I'm kinda partial to Sue having fingerless gloves ever since Millar's run but still, superb effort Kris.

Really love what you did with this! But why if the black straps on Johnny's turn white when he's "Flame on!" Why didn't his black glove?! Don't get me wrong love the effect!

I like that even though the focus was on the suits here, you can still see the close relationship on the siblings, the isolation of the Thing, and Reed's distraction.

I really like this design you did. I like the white outfits they currently wear in the books, but I miss the "4" symbol. You've worked both elements in perfectly and improved on design elements too.

Wonderful. I've started to really like short sleeves on superhero costumes. The inverted pattern on Johnny is a stroke of genius, and the "chemical graphic design" is actually very Kirbyesque to my eyes.

This really seems like a mixed bag to me. I love the customisation and the individualisation the suits can offer to the four. The coat and the short sleeves suit Reed and Johnny's respective personalities and roles in the team perfectly. I'm also in love with the tron effect the chemlines on Johnny's suit has when he's "flamed on".
I do find that those chemlines though seem to clutter up the designs of some of the suits (that line from the 4 logo in particular feels superfluous) and I can't say I'm a fan of the powder blue elements either. Plus and this is just my own personal preference mind you, I can't help but feel that Ben is awfully naked and exposed compared to his teammates. Perhaps if a tank top of some sort was implemented I would feel more comfortable with it. I just can't help but feel that characters like The Thing or Metamorpho wouldn't feel very comfortable with their bodies exposed in public.
All that being said I do admire how gutsy these designs are. The white is a bold choice which pays off and I adore your style. You've captured the Four's personalities wonderfully.
