Yeah I can see this is artwork for another Zelda game that's a spin-off. Think the ocean of Wind Waker but nobody left the water and just changed from Human hyrulian to merfolk hyrulian.

I did the tan because it's the color of his pants. I always tend to imagine mermen in red, since it's a more aggressive color.
