God, I can only imagine poor Dolly's outfit.Ali is one of the Blue Peter Generation and would love to make costumes for the kids at LarkRise, to make things more fun. I think Jack would be able to squirm out of it somehow but it would be funny as hell to see what Ali would stuff him into.

At the beginning he is, but his mutism is chosen, he just doesn't want to speak. But as he becomes friends with Anouk, he finds he wants to.
