Hope that it's ok!

This has such a graveyard feel to it - as though everything in the frame is dead, even though in reality only a few of the trees are barren. The dark shadow of twigs poking through at the bottom really add to the desolate feel. Really well done.

It takes something extra to capture desolation, "dead", and a complete lack of warmth. I don't have anything in the way of a critique here; just wanted to drop my +fav and tell you how impressed I am.

This does give the feeling of cold desolation. Like starting out on a cold morning on snowshoes before you really warm up or the sun breaks on the horizon..ow! I can almost feel my nose hurting.

This is indeed a cold picture---I almost feel chilly just looking at it. All the blue is what makes me feel cold, and the fact that it's a more subtle blue, not so vibrant like on a warm day's sky.
I love how you have an assortment of trees here; some full of leafs and life, while others are simply sticks in the ground now, with skinny branches going out every which way.

Very clever use of infrared filter. I'm usually not a big fan of those filters but here it fits very well.
The framing is also interesting with the tree at the bottom.

Beautiful picture! I love the coldness in it, the feel of the frost, or something. The blue color fits the pic perfect!

Creepy - this could either be a nuclear wasteland or a scene straight out of one of C. D. Friedrichs paintings, one of my favourite painters from the early 19th century. He featured such gnarly trees quite prominently and I once went on a trip to visit the places that either served as an inspiration to him or that were featured in his work ( see [link] for some examples of his paintings).
But I drift a bit off now, don't I? But I really cannot say anything but that I totally dig this piece and the wide angle you chose to shoot it at.
Some shaddows on the edges, though, but I figure that at your lens setting the filter came in its way.
Brilliant work...makes me want to go and shoot some infrared scenes myself (if it wasn't such a hassle with film!).

The "Monastery Graveyard in the Snow" peice by Friedrichs is quite amazing. It has such a cold dead feeling to it, I love it . Yea the shadows on the edges were from the IR filter, I meant to take them out, but I just decided to leave them in for whatever reason.
