Beautiful values, lighting, diagonals, and perspective.
Very peaceful, but I also keep expecting a horseman to come galloping through the beams... It's a wonderful shot, and is a great scene for the imagination to make things up for.

i was going to remove the sign, but my girlfriend told me it doesn't distract from the shot -- that she barely even noticed it. i'll probably take it out, though.
