Description UPDATE: 6.7.2016
Development of the Fallout 4 inspired Rainmeter suite is finally well under way. The overall design scheme is done and all the Rainmeter functions have been tested. Now it's just a matter of hammering out the development of the skins and all the artwork. I will update here as I have more information. I hope you all look forward to seeing how it turns out as much as I look forward to developing it.

Installation Requirements:
 Rainmeter v3.2 or higher Rainmeter page link (install first) - Set to enable on system startup
 Core Temp v1.0 or higher Core Temp page link
 "Monofonto" font - Download and install from DaFont
 Download the .rmskin file (install second)

 You can get the WALLPAPER -  HERE .

Changelog:
 2.02
-fixed a bug that had the weather location in two places. Works correctly now.
(to manually fix (not overwrite your current settings everywhere else) Delete the VARIABLES "location" and "unit" from the "URT_leftbar>Weather>weather.ini" file

Tried to figured that out also and finally found the solution :

- Go to Your Rainmeter file -> \Skins\Ultimate Robco Terminal v2\resources
- Open options.inc
- Find :
       Unit=f
- Change it to :
       Unit=m

(f is for Fahrenheit and m is for Metric)

And there you go ^^

Is it normal for the processor usage on a i5-480M to be 20%? It goes down to 5 if I turn off the Launcher but I would really like to keep that.
Also, any possibility of getting the raw files? I would like to try to mess with it a bit, just for fun.

I love this skin so much! But if anybody knows how to solve this little problem I would really appreciate it. My hometown has a really long name and the text is overlapping into the image, How do I go about deleting the text for my state or making the text smaller so that wont happen?

I can't figure out the weather. I done that:

"Delete the VARIABLES "location" and "unit" from the "URT_leftbar>Weather>weather.ini" file"

and now weather does not shown.
In options.ini I wrote like that:

[Variables]
;----CHANGE THESE FOR YOU WEATHER LOCATION----
location=RSXX0091:1:RS

Anybody can help?

Hey so I had a few questions about your skin:
1. were do you put the file paths for the games from the game tab to get it to start the game I can't seem to find were to put it am I suppose to alter the files or something
2. i still cant get the weather tracker to work
3. how do i change the names for the buttons at the bottom of the Robco application module
I'm not really good at coding or anything like that so sorry if these seem like stupid questions

Hey, love this skin! Haven't seen the creator post in a while, but I had some questions, hoping someone can help? I only have 3 issues I need resolved:

1: is there a way for the processor temps to read as fahrenheit instead of celsius?
2: is there a way to add more than 3 hard drives?
3: are there any kinds of adjustments I can make to the way it reads download speeds? It seems to be showing double my speed, like when im DLing at 27MB, it shows 54MB

Sorry if these are in the .ini files, i've looked and fiddled around with them but can't get these things figured out. Thanks for any help

Hi idahoprime,
I am no longer supporting this particular skin suite. I am busily working away on the new one. These are not easy questions to figure out on your own, so I thought I would comment.

1. Open Core Temp software and click on "Options" then "Settings". Click on the "Display tab and select the box next to "Display temperatures in Fahrenheit. Because the plugin is only reading a number value, you will need to edit "Processor.ini" at each applicable meter to have the "F" designation. This is because the "C" designation is hardcoded into the skin.

2. Yes, you can add as many drives as you would like. Unfortunately it would require a great deal of reformatting and coding of the skin that I will not be able to do at this time.

3. I was not able to duplicate the behavior you are experiencing with the Download speeds.

Thanks for the response AppointedPie!

I got the processor temps witched to Fahrenheit, I didnt even think that it might have something to do with Core Temp. And thanks for letting me know about the drives and download speed. I don't what it is about download meter skins and my system. only about 25% of them i try are accurate, the rest are either doubled or dont work at all. Sometimes i realize its a bits vs bytes thing, or mb vs kb etc etc, but, not a huge deal. Thanks for taking a look at my problems. Really looking forward to the Fallout 4 skin!

Just a heads up for anyone who's weather started acting up in the last couple weeks- it looks like weather.com changed their URL. Go into measures>weather.inc and change it to wxdata.weather.com/wxdata/weat… and it should get you going again.

Okay, I might have a problem... Anyone know why the weather image isn't showing up here? i.imgur.com/XrT7t0p.png I tried mucking around with this section of weather.ini but in the end I couldn't get any results:

;----METERS----
[Icon]
Meter=Image
MeasureName=MeasureIconCurrent
Path=#path # (This section I tried to alter the path directly to the image folder but there was no change...)
H=50
X=25
Y=32
ImageAlpha=225
LeftMouseUpAction=www.weather.com/weather/today/… (I thought this section might be partly responsible but nothing when I edited it...)
ToolTipText=Click to Access Weather Station
ToolTipType=0

I literally have no idea how to fix this problem.

Edit: I should mention the problem occurred after I changed the weather location from the default location, the one you have when you install the skin, to my own location.

this looks awesome and makes a perfect set for my desktop, but i have 1 problem with the weather though... i can't set it to display my temperature in C instead of F set by you in default.
i have set unit to c in options.inc and changed my location (also did that manual fix to make it work) but it shows temp in F grade instead of C. could you give me some tips how to make it work?

btw. some of "===" frames are being clipped by "..." which looks kinda silly, but that probably can be fixed by setting clipstring to 0 in some of your files. this happens in storage information, application module and weather tracker. im not sure if its due to my screen resoluton or just that clipstring value.
I'll be fiddling about it a bit later anyway, but for now i'm stuck with the temperature thing :/

akhmedcfiej In reply to akhmedcfiej [2015-10-25 20:02:11 +0000 UTC]

seems like the clipping of  the "====" frames was caused by my screen resolution. easily solved by removing width line (w= ) in strings that were clipped, but I still haven't found a way to solve that temerature grade problem

Hey, AppointedPie .

Your skin is amazing.

You mentioned you'll make a Fallout 4 styled remake?
Well lets just say my hype level went too high and I made it for you. Sorta.

Vault-Tec: Desk Edition

I have given full credit to you (and another rainmeter author I used), I just love Fallout 4 and I am not that good at Rainmeter coding yet so I based the new one off of yours.

If you have any questions or requests, please send me a message or send a direct email to SevineX@live.com

Best Regards,
Stryder

AppointedPie In reply to Katasashi [2015-07-10 11:24:23 +0000 UTC]

This is tough to trouble shoot based on your description, but let me give you a couple things to consider.
1. Are you putting the shortcut path and the name you want displayed on the appPaths.inc file? or directly in the module .ini file? This actually should not matter, but it helps keep things organized to have them all in one place.

2. Are you sure you have the correct information in the correct place? Does you input look like:
Game1=steam://rungameid/72850 (or whatever your specific game shortcut is)
Game1Text=The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (or whatever your specific game title is)

3. Sometimes Rainmeter gets a little confused if you make a lot of changes. Try closing and restarting Rainmeter. That usually clears up any weird behavior.

Good luck! and keep your eyes out for the upcoming URT3.

Katasashi In reply to AppointedPie [2015-07-12 21:33:21 +0000 UTC]

I'm pretty sure about the shortcut path and name, with or without brackets. My computer was off the night, so i guess it restarted.
Here the code (didn't do a lot of change as the previous didn't really worked):

-----------------------------------------------

Game1="lol.launcher.admin.exe"
Game1Text=League of Legends

Game2="C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe"
Game2Textrakensang Online

Game3="C:\Users\Katasashi\Documents\Fichier\Lulz.exe"
Game3Text=League of Legends

Game4=steam://rungameid/49520
Game4Text=Borderlands 2

Game5=steam://rungameid/8930
Game5Text=Civilization V

Game6=steam://rungameid/205100
Game6Textishonored

Game7=steam://rungameid/261030
Game7Text=The Walking Dead: Season Two

Game8="C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Titanfall\Titanfall.exe"
Game8Text=TitanFall

Game9="C:\GOG Games\Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete\nwn2.exe"
Game9Text=Neverwinter Nights 2

-----------------------------------------------

Note:
A music player would have been good too, but this theme is really awesome.
What is the URT3 ? Are you planning others ?

this is AWESOME. nice work! i just had 2 questions...
1) i like keep all my rainmeter stuff on the right side, and i don't use all of the panels, but when i drag any from the left bar over, they seem to have a fixed margin on the right side, so when they snap to the right edge, there's a gap. where can i go and what should i do to fix this?

2) as much as i like the unified theme and wallpaper, i still like my changing ones, and want to use those. any time there's a lightly colored one though, the text is impossible to read. do you know what i'd have to do to give each panel a background fill that i can adjust the transparency of? Edit: i just noticed that the shutdown panel actually has one, as well as the graphs from the processor

any help would be appreciated, and again, great work!

AppointedPie In reply to MiceAteMyRamen [2015-07-02 00:52:35 +0000 UTC]

Thanks Mice
1. I'm not sure why that would be the case. I was not able to duplicate this issue. What specific skins are behaving this way?
2. For the majority of the skins you would need to add a graphical image as the background. You are welcome to use the ones included in the skin suite to make them the size you want with Photoshop or a similar program. You just need to size the image and add it as the first meter in whatever skin you want.

You can reference the manual at www.rainmeter.com for instructions.

MiceAteMyRamen In reply to AppointedPie [2015-07-07 22:52:34 +0000 UTC]

thanks i'll check out the rainmeter manual to figure that out. at the very least i think i might be able to copy the code from another skin right? i think the gnometer one uses it...

as for the gap on the right side, it's specifically the Weather and Storage panels. here's a pic to help (i.imgur.com/thmofXE.png )

if means anything, i'm running on 1920x1080 resolution, too

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AppointedPie In reply to MiceAteMyRamen [2015-07-10 11:10:47 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the pic. I think what you are seeing is that each module uses an invisible boundary box (ie. the variable #lbWidth #) that is equal to 300, then the content of the module should be centered within that boundary (#lbWidth #-260 = 40/2 for a margin of 20 on each side). I did this so they would have the same margin whether used in the left or right of the screen. The short answer is that the modules with the gap are acting correctly. What concerns me more is the ones you show just above that DON'T have the invisible margin.
To fix this to your tastes (since I am working on URT3 now) you can mess with the lbWidth variable but you will get some unwanted behavior because most of the right margin offsets are (#lbWidth # minus some number), so things will get a bit squished unless those values are reconciled as well.
I will certainly keep this issue in mind while working on URT3. I can see where this can be frustrating.

Whelp, that worked perfectly, though I suppose with long application names they'll overlap, so I'll just have to come up with short forms if that happens. Thank you! I'm running 1920x1080 by the way, which looks like the same as yours in the pictures. I dunno why mine wouldn't cooperate and look nice.
