This took so long and I'm still not completely satisfied with it. Maybe I'll work on it some more again when I get home. I just wanted to upload it for now.

Introduction: Cricket is not like most Rainwings. She doesn't care for most fruits, except for mangosteen, mango, pineapple, plums, coconut, avacado, and raspberries. She mainly is a meat-eater, much to most other Rainwings disgust, and her favourite above everything else is fish, especially Mackerel. Cricket has earned the disgust and scorn of most of her fellow Rainwings, not only for her odd tastes in food, but also for her depressive episodes, where she turns her scales into something gory to express the way she's feeling inside. This is disturbing to most rainwings, who are usually carefree and goofy, but Cricket turns things "too serious." That said, although Cricket is a rainwing that struggles with depression, she does enjoy the beauty of nature and is an artist in the truest sense. She will create things out of the resources she finds. She loves experimenting with recipes and food, and preserving them. She also likes carving wood and creating beautiful accessories from the things she finds. Hence why she can appear like a strange dragon or a hybrid to most. She uses feathers, rods, spines, quills, and anything she can find in nature to cover herself. This is not just to hide the scars she's earned from her experiments with the Nightwings, which deeply scarred her, and gave her her depressive episodes. She also felt betrayed by her entire tribe, after no one noticed she was gone. She came to realize how superficial the rainwing kingdom was and decided to take her things and go. She is mainly a restless wanderer now, who sets up temporary camps everywhere in the rainforest, sometimes using the skulls of animals to ward off preditors as she can be quite paranoid of visitors. Cricket likes to prey on other animals and is a guilty pleasure that other Rainwings despise her for. Cricket's venom does not work after being extracted by Nightwings, they damaged that part of her so that she is forever without a natural weapon. This is another reason why Cricket dresses herself up to make herself look stranger than she is. Aside from having no venom, and because of her depression, Cricket finds it very difficult to change her scales willfully. This makes it harder for her to camouflage into her environment to escape danger unless she is completely calm and focused, and this can be a challenge from a paranoid Rainwing. Instead her colours usually portray indifference and depth. Browns and blues, especially periwinkle shades and light silvery powder blues. These are her favourite colours and she likes to wear and express them a lot. She does change colours when under extreme emotion, but her depression often makes her feel numb and distant from her body, so what is on the outside of her scales may not always accurately portray what she is feeling.

Personality: Cricket is an outcast from the Rainwing society, for "raining on their parade." She is mentally depressed most of the time and doesn't know how to be carefree like most rainwings. Therefore she doesn't relate to anyone in her tribe, who can never take her seriously. She moved out a short time later and lives on the outskirts of the Rainforest Kingdom, where she spends the majority of her time pondering the meaning of life and creating crafts. She is especially into philosophy and art, she enjoys creating crafts out of the various resources found in the rainforest around her. She often turns fruits into organs to express the way she feels inside, and you can often find her scale patterns shifting to something gory and disturbing. This is her form of self expression and it freaks most rainwings out so they don't like to be around her. Cricket doesn't have any friends and spends most of her times alone. Her isolation gives her both depressive and insane episodes where she can turn savage. Though most rainwings are vegetarians, Cricket has no hesitance in attacking larger prey like jaguars, especially in one of her bitter episodes. She takes her anger out on the prey around her and her house is scratched inside a tree, where prey bones litter the area and scare off intruders. The Rainwings won't have anything to do with her for obvious reasons. However she is very artistic and tries to search for the beauty in the deeper things of the universe. She devotes most of her time to writing poetry, coming up with theories for the meaning of the universe, and creating interesting art pieces from the many resources found in the wilderness. She loves animals and spends many hours observing them, as well as hunting them. She is both enthralled by their beauty and apalled by their savagry. She can get so caught up with what's going on around her that she has a hard time experiencing things through another's eyes or alternating perspectives except when she is so intently studying her subject that she usually chases it off. She likes the IDEA of friends but usually scares them away because she has zero social ediquate.
Any personal possessions they hang on to: She is obsessed with all the creations she makes and her home is decorated with them, along with the scrolls of writing she creates. If anything should happen to them, she would probably completely lose all sanity. To her, they are expressions of herself and memories she should never lose.
Friends: She does not have any friends but often wishes for some as she gets quite lonely living by herself.
Love/Crush: She feels very distant from most other dragons and has a hard time getting close to any, but she is a romantic at heart. Later in life she meets a dragon named Meteor. A NightwingxMudwing hybrid:
