My very first horse! And he's a liver chestnut and he's my baby! I'm not really sure if I'm happy with the picture or not .. I was insanely happy after I'd finished it, but now I'm not so sure hah. I think it's the head that bothers me, I screwed up a bit whilst drawing it. And the mane is a little to bright but oh well, details!_____________

Oh, Knight's Ledger is gorgeous! First off, I must say that I love the name you've chosen for him. I liked Heath Ledger, but I haven't seen the movie you're talking about. I do feel, however, that the name is regal sounding in its own rights.
Anyway, he's absolutely gorgeous! I've got to agree with ~Solstubbe about the shading. You did a great job. Is he a flaxen liver chestnut or no? I kind of got the impression because of the lighter mane and tail, but I suppose flaxen might be a tad lighter, as well. I'm just wondering. I can't wait to see Ledger in action!

Oh, I'm glad you like him 
He's supposed to be a liver chestnut without the flaxen gene, but I screwed up with his mane and got it way to light. I think I confused them a bit while drawing, and then it just turned out the way it did. In upcoming pictures his mane and tail will probably be darker

I've only done a few shows myself, mainly little halter shows for my foals, but I did do a race or two. Haven't done well enough though. Meh well. Striving to improve.
Ah, I see. Well, his name is quite fitting for him indeed! Alright, I understand now about his mane and tail. I think you can fix the mane and tail and then reupload the file...I haven't played around with that much.

I've wanted to enter tones of competitions earlier but I've always encountered an art block which have made me unable to draw for months and months. But now I've got quite the flow so I'll strike while the iron is hot (is that how you say it? I just directly translated the saying from Swedish haha).

I understand about being lazy, having no time, and having an art block that's lasted for months. Things have been stressful at home this year and I'm finally starting to beat it, thankfully. I just don't have time with school.
