Actually, we can. Let the Bible tell about itself and you'll see. I will say now I haven't read cover-to-cover, but even a novice like myself can see it is God's exhaled Word. I have several questions.
First, saying the Bible isn't God's way of communicating His Will to us, do you believe he's a personal God, or just idly distant from His creations? If so, how do you know?
Second, if the Bible isn't God's truth, where are Christians supposed to get their conduct and doctrine?

The only thing about the bible is that it's been translated so many times, and so many people have altered to justify their actions (King James), that I necessarily hold it to be the utmost truth. I'm not saying it's not his way of communicating with us, I'm just saying he might have changed his opinion on certain things. You never know.
And the Bible is the word of God from a long time ago. For all we know, he could have just now created Gays.
And Christians should get their conduct and such from good, human decency. We have deep seeded morals in ourselves that we look on for direction.
