Description
Way more detailed than actually planned. All started when I wanted to dragonize my gf's character Felina, a caracal-hummingbird-chameleon hybrid. I thought she would look really nice as valkyrie dragon. This way I'm able to show another example beside Tiamat. My love for cel shading has returned :3I'm going to offer something like this as commission soon~
Lineart is 100% handmade.

I especially like the similarities these two share, but at the same time they are very different. Impressing.
The cell-shading is cool and well done, but it isnΒ΄t as dramatic as realistic(?) shadowing.
But I shouldnΒ΄t be complaining I should be staring

Yes, she's a very colorful example for this species, unlike Tiamat! Also personality-wise. Pretty much the opposite.
Well, everyone prefers a different style. I like both cel shading and realism equal and I use them equal ^^
Realistic shading takes a lot more time. Sometimes I enjoy doing something 'easier'.

Schuppen... so viele Schuppen *.* Wird zeit, das ich das auch lern, schaut einfach toll aus. Nicht nur die Schuppen, sondern beide. Drache und Kolibri

Normalerweise wΓ€ren die Schuppen noch feiner (vor allem am Schwanz) aber so ΓΌbertrieben genau wollte ich es dann doch nicht haben. Ein andern mal~

Your comments are always so motivating! I'm glad I was finally able to create the final design for this species. I'm going to make an "aging sheet" as well. Older Valkyrerjar's grow a biiig feathered mane. Looks quite majestic
