I usually like photos of bridges, tracks or ways that fade into the horizon. I just love the symbolic behind. This one is even more attractive as it catches my attention more than any other I saw. Had the ripples on the water been visible the feeling would have been totally different. Ripples being not visible here make the pathway like being suspended between two worlds and it's only the human silhouette far away who reminds us it's not a dream or some surreal world.

I like how the first left pole breaks the rythm of the straight poles.
The snow adds very much and changes the temperature completely.
I also like the man not standing at the end of the way, this is much more interesting now, as it is.
Finally perfect work on the tones and contrasts.

I love the stillness in this image. Was their fog on the water or was it just a long enough exposure to create that ethereal texture?
