Still thinking about the particulars. I really think it depends on involvement, emotions, and angle.
Whether the POV is actively giving, or receiving--then, how the giver/recipient feels about it--then, whether POV actually makes the picture better, vs. being a superfluous gimmick.

For example, FP giving with consent can work well, because many people like giving, especially when the receiver likes it themselves, so it allows imagination to put the viewer in a situation they like. FP receiving without consent, on the other hand, (say, being a bullying victim) can make the viewer actually uncomfortable with the situation.

(Plus, FP receiving can be hard to translate well in a drawing--in a first person atomic, all the fun stuff is behind the view angle)
