A talented, if perhaps overconfident young witch, Kimberly Han is a second-generation American hailing from a long line of mages stretching back to Imperial China. She is fiercely intelligent and ambitious, but after graduating college fell on hard times trying to secure a job in the midst of the chaotic, post-revelation world. Currently, she lives at the Safehouse and trains with Miss Hazel, the witch in charge of it.

She and Jamie bond over their mutual interest and passion for magic, each teaching the other what they know, but sometimes her headstrong nature leads her to experiment in things beyond what she is currently capable of, leading to sometimes disastrous results -- something that another denizen of the Safehouse, Zachary Price, learned firsthand.
