I wanted to put some illustration to my article about black dwarf, but did not find any that would fit - so I used this artwork (no commercial usage there and I credited you of course).
In case you try to make a black dwarf (should simply be some smaller star that is absolutely black and doesn´t shine) , please let me know. It is an amazing work.

Nice ! Black dwarf is a theoretical object (does not exist yet) that represents a "dead star". When a small star runs out of hydrogen in its core, it becomes red giant. The next step is planetary nebula + white dwarf (core of the original star).. so the white dwarf doesn´t fuse any elements - it is just a stars´core that is slowly (really - very very slowly - so slowly, that the universe age is nothing when compared) and once it radiates all of its energy (heat) it (scientists say) becomes black dwarf.
If I wanted to compare it to some real - life object, I would say wood. You know.. when you set fire you use wood to keep the fire.. but when the fire "is over", the wood slowly cools and becomes carbonized. I think that black dwarf might behave similar way - the color changes from white through yellow, red and finally absolutely black. If the universe is old enough..
I do not hurry about the image, really - it is amazing that I could suggest something for you to paint and you like it.

Do you have any tips on how to get this sort of effect? Would you ever make any photoshop brushes based on these?
