I hear the hungry ghosts calling out in the night

Just a couple victims of this brutal reprise

Am I strong enough to let things just die?

I fight and I fight

Just to keep the spark alive

But if there's nothing on the other side

Why can't I leave well enough alone and go to the light?

Summary: Despite Vendetta's assumptions of a warm and cozy region, she's greeted by the bloody embrace of the 'pale fiends' upon her arrival. On the first couple of occasions, she'd come to fight back; but, even the most stubborn of bulls knew when to tuck their tails; and so she did. She runs like she's never run before, scornful and in shock of the glowing eyes that follow her into the woods.

aHHH this was so satisfying to finish?? V's introduction piece is her just getting smacked by some Hive wolves after making some really off-target guesses of how the new territory would be! She'll learn hopefully-
