Description
I decided to merge these two into a single image rather than submit them seperately. Anyway its more concept art from Capcom's remake of Bionic Commando showing some of the underground environments.Photoshop

How on earth do you get such perfect details in the stones? Normally you only get that with mattepainting!

I loved the remake, the environments were beautiful--very, very, very, very under rated gem of a game. Swinging through the caves was a calming experince.

This is sweet. I love how you've managed to keep such a strong connected between the blue and orange/red color on the left picture. Where have you studied art by the way? (If you have gone to any academies or schools) - Some people are self-taught too, but this is really awesome.

Now did you do this for fun or for official Capcom concept art?
It's been about seven years since I first discovered you, and I am still at awe! Your work is so beautiful and there is something spiritual about each piece. Looking forward to seeing more!

I think this concept work's For Real. [link] ) Sorry for nitpicking here, it says on ~Archipello 's main page that he's based in Sweden, the place where Bionic Commando was developed for Capcom.
I'm still jealous of his talent though!! Awesome work!

Wow, I just can't believe how amazing your work is. The details, the photorealism.. It's just.. wow.
I know you don't copy picture as is, but do you use any references at all for textures, lighting, etc?

The left one is amazing. There is so much detail work, and yet you probably worked it out in a matter of a couple hours.

Lovely work on the caves, Dan. There are photos in my newest National Geographic Magazine (came a couple of days ago) that these could have been referenced from. Just one of those interesting coincidences.
