This is an idea I just had and spontaneously drew up today^^IΒ΄ve done a painting based on this before but I wanted to do something similar again....
The title is the Finnish word for the Northern lights which literally means "Fox Fire" because there is a folk legend that the Northern lights are created by a fox that runs over the night sky and paints them with its tail....IΒ΄m not Finnish myself but interested in mythology/culture, and I like that legend a lot!
Drawn with Polychromos and Derwent Drawing pencils on dark blue tinted paper.

Looks great.Β I love the detail in the fur and the darker colours used for the shading below the head. If you added some darker orange or red around the eyes and amongst the ears, also in some areas of the fur, you could get some really nice depth and fluffiness to the fur- like what you did with the dark greys and black below the head.
